App vs. Browser: What We Recommend

The selot Android APK app offers offline caching—if your connection drops during a slot spin or a live casino hand, the app stores the result locally and syncs it when you reconnect. Push notifications let you know when a prediction settles or a withdrawal completes. The APK also loads slightly faster because it caches assets on your device. On the downside, you must manually update the app when we release new versions.

The iOS browser and web versions require no installation and update automatically. You access the latest features instantly. However, they use more data each session because the browser re-downloads some assets every time you visit. Push notifications are possible but less reliable on browsers than on native apps. Both are ideal if you prefer minimal storage use or switch between many devices.

Device Compatibility

We support Android 7.0 and newer. For iOS, Safari and Chrome on iOS 12 and newer work with selot. If your device is older than these versions, you can still access selot via the web on a computer. Most phones released in the last five years meet these requirements—if you're unsure, try opening selot.app in your phone's browser and test login. If it loads, your device is compatible.

Common Installation Issues

Android users sometimes see a "Certificate not trusted" warning when installing the APK. This is normal—our certificate is valid, but Android is just confirming it. Tap "Install anyway" to proceed. If you receive an "App not installed" error, check that you have at least 100 MB of free storage and that unknown sources are enabled in Settings. On rare occasions, your antivirus app may block the APK download. If this happens, temporarily disable the antivirus, download selot, and re-enable it. iOS users installing via browser should ensure they allow downloads in Safari settings—some devices block file downloads by default.

Android requires manual permission to install apps from outside the Play Store. This is a security feature, not a defect. selot APKs are scanned and signed.

Storage full error

Free up at least 100 MB on your device. Delete old photos, videos, or apps you no longer use.

Slow loading on browser

Browser sessions use more data. Switch to the Android app or move to a faster Wi-Fi network for better speed.

Push notifications not working

On Android, check Settings > Notifications and ensure selot has permission to send alerts. On iOS, check Safari settings.

Data, Security, and Your selot Account

When you install the selot app or access selot via browser, you connect to our encrypted servers. Your username, password, and KYC documents are protected by industry-standard TLS encryption. The app does not store your password locally—only a session token that expires after a set period of inactivity. This means if someone borrows your phone, they cannot log back in once your session ends. We also support two-factor authentication via your registered mobile number, adding a second layer of security to prevent unauthorized account access.

Deposits via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet process through secure payment gateways. Your bank details are never stored on our servers—only a transaction record that confirms your deposit. Withdrawals are reviewed by our compliance team within one business day to confirm the account matches your verified identity. If you ever reset your password or enable two-factor authentication, we send a confirmation email so you know when your account security changes.
